About Switchpower

Swedish Energy System Transition AB, also known as Switchpower, was founded in 2004 by Lars Hedström, Petter Sjöström and Andrew Machirant - three entrepreneurs with a background in Hydrogen Fuel-Cell R&D, Finance and Environmental Technology as well as Policy Analysis and Management Consulting, respectively.

Since March 2009 the company is fully owned by PV module manufacturer Gällivare Photovoltaic AB (GPV). Switchpower is based in Stockholm , Sweden, yet responds to client demands on a regional Scandinavian, pan-European and international level .

Ongoing development projects provide access to extensive national and international networks at centres of excellence in renewable energy and energy end-use research disciplines.
